Finally completed my playful lights. Inspired by construction play (Lego etc.) I wanted to see if I could use interaction design to involve the users more in the use of objects and products. Construction play- is playful, obviously, but also a powerful way to learn. An average Western first- grader spends as much as 50 percent of their play time taking part in this type of play. It’s classically learning by doing.
Play lights gives the users opportunities to build structures of any sizes. Each unit lights up when attached to another unit. The electricity runs through magnets that each unit have.
